We're excited to announce that after-school football is coming to Downsway Primary School! Sessions will take place every Monday from 3:15pm–4:15pm between 7th September and 14th December 2026. Registration will take place on the outside playground. Children should be collected from the green gates by the football pitches. These gates will remain closed throughout the session for safeguarding and security purposes. Parents are kindly asked to wait outside the school grounds until the designated collection time. Session Schedule Years 1, 2 and 3 Boys and Girls- All abilities welcome 7th September 14th September 21st September 28th September 5th October Girls Only Sessions- All abilities welcome 12th October 19th October 2nd November 9th November Years 4, 5 and 6 Boys and Girls All abilities welcome 16th November 23rd November 30th November 7th December End-of-Term Celebration – Everyone Invited! Boys and Girls Monday 14th December All children and parents are invited to join us for a special end-of-term celebration. We'll have fun football games involving both parents and children, plenty of smiles, and a few Christmas gifts from the Pass and Move team. Please ensure you book your child onto the relevant session group and bookings will close 48 hours before each session to allow us to make sure we have the right coach to player ratios. Venue Football sessions will take place on the school's grass pitch. In the event of poor weather, we will have access to the school hall as a backup venue. We are passionate about bringing the joy of football to boys and girls of all abilities in a positive and supportive environment.
