We're excited to announce that after-school football is coming to Downsway Primary School! Sessions will take place every Monday from 3:15pm–4:15pm between 7th September and 14th December 2026. Registration will take place on the outside playground. Children should be collected from the gre …moreen gates by the football pitches. These gates will remain closed throughout the session for safeguarding and security purposes. Parents are kindly asked to wait outside the school grounds until the designated collection time. Session Schedule All years Mixed Sessions- All abilities welcome 7th September 14th September 21st September 28th September 5th October Girls Only Sessions- All abilities welcome 12th October 19th October 2nd November 9th November All years Mixed- All abilities welcome 16th November 23rd November 30th November 7th December End-of-Term Celebration – Everyone Invited! Boys and Girls Monday 14th December All children and parents are invited to join us for a special end-of-term celebration. We'll have fun football games involving both parents and children, plenty of smiles, and a few Christmas gifts from the Pass and Move team. Venue Football sessions will take place on the school's grass pitch. In the event of poor weather, we will have access to the school hall as a backup venue. About Pass and Move Pass and Move already delivers fun, engaging, and confidence-building football sessions at other local schools. We are passionate about bringing the joy of football to boys and girls of all abilities in a positive and supportive environment. After seeing just how much the children loved trying different sports during our World Cup Summer Camp, we knew we had to bring it back. Over the summer we welcomed 260+ child attendances, and some of the biggest smiles came when we mixed football with other exciting sports. Our experienced coaching team specialises in creating a safe, welcoming environment where every child can build confidence, make friends and enjoy being active. What to bring Indoor trainers (non-marking if possible). Comfortable sports clothing. A refillable water bottle (water refill station available at Cotswold Sports Centre). Children are welcome to bring their own bat, paddle or ball if they have one, but all equipment is provided by the team. Whether your child is sporty already or just wants to try something new, these sessions are all about supporting kids to Pass, Move & Improve while having loads of fun. We were blown away by the number of children who joined us across the summer, with our busiest week averaging just shy of 20 children every day! Now we're ready to do it all again t …morehis October with more World Cup matches, more Goalie Wars, more challenges, more prizes and, most importantly, more fun and laughter! 📍 Cotswold Sports Centre, Tilehurst A fantastic 3G football facility with indoor facilities available, allowing us to keep the children entertained throughout the day. 📅 Monday 26th – Friday 30th October ⏰ Camp: 9:00am – 3:00pm 🌅 Early Drop-Off: from 8:00am 🌙 Late Pick-Up: until 4:00pm Friday Celebration Day! 🏆🎉 We’ll finish the week with medals, competitions, games and plenty of fun! Parents are welcome to arrive early and join us for our 2pm medal ceremony, celebrating a fantastic week at Pass and Move. ⚽🖤💛 🏆 Can You Become Our Next Champion? What to expect: End-of-year football tournament Parents vs Kids matches Fun football challenges and games Medal presentation ceremony Christmas gifts from the Pass and Move team Special appearances from some festive visitors... and we might even find out how good Santa is at football! 🎅 Parents and family members are warmly invited to attend and take part in the fun. Please note that you only need to book and pay for the child taking part in the event and then email info@passandmovefc.co.uk if you will be joining your child for the event with your name and childs name.
